SBCC - Antioch 3+1 Agreement
Three years at SBCC and one year at Antioch University to earn a bachelor's degree
As part of Santa Barbara City College’s ongoing commitment to make college tuition as accessible and affordable as possible, we have partnered with Antioch University Santa Barbara (AUSB) to offer a true 3 + 1 agreement (3 years at SBCC and 1 year at Antioch University). Some international students from countries with additional gymnasium credits may be able to complete their BA in 3 years (2 years at SBCC and 1 year at Antioch). This partnership (transferring up to 90 credits from SBCC into Antioch University) could save students thousands of dollars compared to the traditional 2+2 model. Students can also concurrently enroll at Antioch and SBCC, taking courses at both schools, and utilizing support at both institutions.

Concurrent Enrollment
With advisor approval, an undergraduate student can take credits at SBCC while enrolled as an Antioch student. The student must complete the Concurrent Enrollment Agreement form, which should be accompanied by proof of registration at the second institution. If the student passes the course(s) with a grade of “C” or better, the units are transferred to Antioch and are recorded as transfer credit. Concurrent enrollment allows students to receive financial aid through Antioch University for all registered units from both institutions.
