International Student Intensive English Program
Registration Instructions
You must complete steps 1-4 below before you register for your classes in step 5. Register for classes as early as possible and before Welcome Week. All new students placed in Advanced (level 4) ESL or higher are required to register for PD 101B, which is an orientation class that meets during Welcome Week.
Priority Registration for fall semester begins on or around May 22. Visa requires at least 12 units in-person.
You will use Pipeline to register for your classes, check your school email, and more. Go to Pipeline and copy your login data as it appears in your "Steps to Enrollment" email
Complete the ESL Guided Self-Placement. This will help you to know which classes you should take. During the first week of your classes, your ESL teachers will help to make sure you are in the correct level.
If you want to take a math class during your first year, fill out the Math Placement form.
Log in to the International Student Orientation with your Pipeline username and password. Topics covered: F-1 Visa Rules, Academic Expectations, and more.
Sign up for a webinar by following these instructions: Sign Up. You may schedule a webinar starting in April and after you have completed steps 1-3. If you need help signing up, contact your International Advisor.

First-semester students ONLY: Your payment deadline has been extended to August 15. Students who do not pay on time may be dropped from their classes.
For all future semesters, you must pay within 7 days of registration or submit a request to extend your payment deadline here when you register for each term.
Option 1: Pay in Pipeline with a credit or debit card.
- Log in to Pipeline using your username and password.
- Navigate to the Student tab.
- Select Pay My Bill.
Option 2: Pay with Flywire.
SBCC offers Flywire payments from international students including bank transfer, credit/debit cards, e-wallet and more.
- Go to sbcc.flywire.com.
- Select your country of origin and preferred payment method.
- Enter your payment details and receive instructions on how to complete the payment process.
- Include your student ID (K#).
- Track the progress of your payment anytime online. Receive email and text alerts each step of the way including when your payment reaches SBCC.
If you cannot attend SBCC for any reason, drop your classes in Pipeline and notify your Advisor (find your Advisor contact information here).
For a full refund of all school fees (i.e. tuition, enrollment, insurance, health, transportation, student rep fee), you must drop all of your classes in Pipeline before the semester start date. After the semester begins, a $10 processing fee is charged if all courses are dropped before their individual refund deadlines.
After the semester starts, check your "Schedule and Bill" in Pipeline to find the refund deadline for each of your classes.
