Office Under Construction
Please be advised that the DSPS Main Office (Student Services, Room SS 160) will be undergoing construction beginning June 1st, which is expected to continue through the entire month of June.
During this time, the DSPS main office and counselors will continue to operate from the DSPS Lab (SS 162), as well as from our upstairs offices located in SS 251 and SS 270. Please begin by checking in with staff in the DSPS Lab upon arrival. Entry can be made through the outside double doors next to Memorial Plaza, facing the Administration Building.
Due to this temporary arrangement and issues regarding safety, noise, and space limitations, the DSPS Lab will have limited operational capacity. We are unable to accommodate extended studying or allow students to remain in the area for long periods during construction hours. We appreciate your patience and understanding as these necessary improvements are completed, and we sincerely apologize for any disruption this may cause to your routines.
While construction is underway, the DSPS Lab will be available only for the following services:
- AT (Assistive Technology) training appointments and consultations.
- DSPS Portal Access to Send Accommodation Letters
- DSPS Portal Access to Utilize Test Booking
- Requesting alternate media or any special accommodations
- Printing
For general support tutoring sessions, please email Joseph Campos (jcampos16@pipeline.sbcc.edu). Because the DSPS Lab space will be unavailable for extended study use, an alternate meeting space will be identified and arranged for you and the tutor in advance, if possible.
