Registration appointment dates are based on units completed at SBCC, educational goal, transfer plan, and enrollment status.
If I change my educational goal and transfer plan during the semester, will it make a difference to my registration appointment for the next semester?
Yes, only if the appointments for the next semester have not yet been generated.
With online registration, you will be able to register with computer access through your Pipeline account from anywhere.
If you are new to SBCC, then your friend may have submitted the application prior to your submittal, or your friend may be qualified for some special status such as DSPS, EOPS, or Veteran whose priority appointments are dictated by Title 5 Educational Code.
Appointments are set for 8:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. and you will not be able to register prior to your appointment date and time. After your appointment time passes, then you can register 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Even with a Parent Authorization form, parents are not allowed to process transactions for a student no matter what the age of the student. High school students should plan to register via their Pipeline account, or come in during our evening hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays until 6:00 p.m.
No, you will need to take care of your holds before you will be able to register.
Some classes fill up quickly and I’ve been waiting several semesters to register for them. Can I have an earlier appointment time to get these classes?
No, SBCC is mandated by Title 5 Education Code on how appointments are generated and changes cannot be made for this reason.
