Welcome to SBCC Community Services

The Community Services/Special Events department seeks to work with the local community in providing a venue for various outreach and community events, including lectures, business services, group meetings, or special and athletic events.

Venue availability goes fast! Inquire as soon as possible regarding the time frame and desired location for your event. 


We schedule all outdoor events and only weekend (Friday-Sunday) classroom and lecture hall requests. During the academic calendar, indoor requests Monday-Friday must be made through the Scheduling Office. During the non-academic calender, we will schedule all requests on campus. 
If you are interested in having a special event at SBCC, go to our Special Events page page for information and procedures. You may also check out the Fastbook Online College Calendar and see various events scheduled throughout the year on campus. If desired, your event can be posted on Fastbook. 


The campus offers Saturday or Sunday ceremony only locations.  The two locations available are the Winslow-Maxwell Overlook on the East Campus or The Great Meadow, including the Baggish Overlook, on the West Campus.  Check out the Weddings page for more information, procedures and photo's.  You may contact our office anytime by emailing for availability of location and date, or any questions you may have.
