Screening Roommates: Know their parent's home address and phone number. Have a Roommate Agreement informally written up specifying your expectations regarding paying bills, cleaning up, lights out, noise, general lifestyle, etc.
Student-Tenant Resume Tips: Creating a student resume would be a very beneficial way
to introduce yourself to a prospective landlord. Basic information for your tenant
resume would include the following: name, address and phone number of your parents,
your last rental address, duration of tenancy, and manager's name. List jobs you have
held, volunteer experience, clubs you belong to and your interests and hobbies. Also,
include your financial information and a few good personal references.
