10 Steps to Enrollment

Apply to the College

To become a SBCC student, complete the following 10 steps:

1.  Apply for Admission (Required) – Complete the online or paper admissions application and send transcripts.

2.  Apply for Financial Aid (Optional) – Recommended.

3.  Take Assessment – Complete Assessment Testing or meet the Alternatives to Testing requirements. It is OK to complete orientation prior to assessment.

4.  Participate in Orientation –  Complete SBCC college orientation online or in person. Required for most new students and recommended for all others. It is OK to complete assessment prior to orientation.

5.  Utilize Advising Services – Required for most new students and recommended for all others.

6.  Register for Classes (Required) – Register for classes online during priority or open registration..

7.  Pay Fees (Required) – Pay fees on or before deadline.

8.  Arrange Transportation, Parking,  Housing and Employment (Optional)

9.  Buy Books (Required)

10. Attend Classes (Required)
