Program price is based on a minimum of 20 program participants. If less than 20 students enroll, the program is subject to cancellation.
PROGRAM PRICE INCLUDES:
- Round-trip air transportation from Los Angeles to Lima, via Lan Peru Airlines, in economy class, weekend travel, apex fare, including current air departure taxes/fuel surcharges of $82.00 (estimated) if "With Airfare" option is selected
- Intra-Peruvian Airfare, Lima/Chiclayo, Lima/Cuzco, Cusco/Lima, via regularly scheduled carriers (pricing subject to change)
- Intra-Peruvian Air Departure Taxes (pricing subject to change)
- 20 Nights in twin bedded accommodations with private facilities, in hotels
- A total of 29 Meals: 19 breakfasts, 9 lunches and 1 dinner
- Local Hosts/Tour Managers to accompany group throughout entire stay in Peru
- All sightseeing and admissions as outlined on itinerary
- Local guides as indicated on itinerary
- All transfers and tours by private motorcoach
- Travel Guard Travel Insurance. This insurance policy covers travel delay, missed connection, baggage and personal effects loss, baggage delay, medical expenses and emergency medical transportation. Additional optional cancellation insurance available at a nominal cost.

- Transportation to and from LAX
- Meals other than those listed as included
- Textbooks
- SBCC fees (non-residents are required to pay out-of-state fees)
- Passport and visa fees
- Personal expenses
- Nasca Flightseeing Tour (available on an optional basis)
- Gratuities for tour director, local guides or motorocoach drivers
- All items not specifically mentioned as INCLUDED
Financial Aid:
There is no financial aid for the winter break program, but students can apply for financial aid for the fall semester and use the money during winter break. If you need financial aid to participate in the Peru winter break program, go to the Financial Aid Office and begin financial aid paperwork immediately. It takes the Financial Aid Office a minimum of 4 - 6 weeks to process your paperwork and determine your eligibility for aid.
Please refer to the SBCC Financial Aid website for more information about financial aid or student loans. A limited number of Study Abroad scholarships may be available to students who qualify for financial aid.
