PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Experience the excitement, mystery and history of Turkey, Israel and Morocco during the winter break of 2008-09! Students on the program will come to understand the cultural, political and religious traditions of these countries and their people through visits to Marrakesh, Casablanca, Ankara, Istanbul, and Jerusalem while learning about the connection between ancient history and modern culture and conflict. These cities and countries have been at the forefront of peaceful and violent contact between continents, nations and faiths for centuries. Become a more knowledgeable and passionate global leader while traveling through and learning about this dynamic region!
