(excluding international airfare)

Includes: Housing in student accommodation and tourist class hotel, all listed excursions, extensive sightseeing tours, Multi1 unlimited travel pass in Sydney, student medical and program fee refund insurance policies as outlined in the AIFS insurance brochure, transportation by private motorcoach and one-way standard class flight between Sydney & Cairns.

Not included: Transportation to and from LAX, $125 refundable damage deposit, most meals, textbooks, SBCC fees (non-residents are required to pay out-of-state or out-of- country fees), passport and visa fees, personal expenses, and any other services not listed as included.

Optional Components:
On a space-available basis, students may purchase the optional transportation package consisting of round-trip airfare between (Los Angeles – Sydney and Cairns – Los Angeles) and round-trip transfers overseas between the airport and the housing in Australia, for which students will be billed separately. The group airfare rate can only be guaranteed for a minimum enrollment of 12 or more participants taking this option.
AIFS will reserve spaces at the above prices according to information on the student application form. Once airline tickets have been issued to students, they can only be changed directly with the issuing agent – agent and airline-imposed penalties apply. AIFS cannot arrange airline tickets for students applying after Thursday, October 2, 2014.

Optional Extra Protection Insurance Coverage, including increased medical insurance ($65) and/or personal effects insurance ($90) as outlined in the AIFS insurance brochure.

Financial Aid: There is no financial aid specifically for the winter break program, but students can apply for financial aid for the fall semester and apply any unused funds for the winter break program. If you need financial aid to participate in the Sydney, Australia program, go to the Financial Aid Office and begin financial aid paperwork immediately. It takes the Financial Aid Office a minimum of 4 - 6 weeks to process your paperwork and determine your eligibility for aid.
