HIGHLIGHTS

Excursions:

Ireland. Five-day, four-night excursion to Ireland, including a sightseeing tour of Dublin and walking tour of Galway, entrances to the Writer's Museum and the James Joyce Museum and boat trip for Dolphin spotting

London. Day trip to London, including a guided city tour of central London and visits to Parliament and the British Museum

Stratford. Day trip to Stratford-Upon-Avon, including visits to Shakespeare's birthplace, Anne Hathaway's Cottage and a theater performance by the Royal Shakespeare Company

Bath/Stonehenge.  Day trip to Bath and Stonehenge, including entrances to the Roman Baths and Stonehenge

Other Features:

British host families.  You will live with an English family, experiencing contemporary British life firsthand.  Many students report that their homestay is the most memorable part of their stay in England. 

IIndependent travel opportunities.  Classes meet Monday - Thursday, providing the chance to travel within Great Britain on 3-day weekends when you are not on required field trips.  During spring break and after the program ends you may also travel to other parts of the UK or Europe.
