PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Florence, Italy is the study site for SBCC's Spring 2007 study abroad program which includes intercultural communication, creative writing, art history, and Italian language. As the heart of the Renaissance, Florence is known for art and architectural treasures and a wealth of history.

Florence is considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Students will be able to experience the culture through study, instruction and observation in this unique environment. Many field trips and excursions are planned to other cities and regions in Italy as well.

Making new friends, living with history, seeing magnificent surroundings, trying new foods and customs, contribute to a rich and memorable experience.
