TENTATIVE PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

  • Housing in double-occupancy rooms in the Cité Universitaire or a similar student residence in Paris
  • Guided tour of Chartes
  • Guided tour of the Tour St. Jacques
  • Guided tour of the Paris Opera house
  • Guided tour focusing on “Art Nouveau and Modernism”
  • Guided walking tour of Le Marais, including Place Voges
  • Visits to the Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, Delacroix Museum, Marmottan Museum, Rodin Museum, Centre Pompidou, Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle, the Eiffel Tower, and other museums and monuments in Paris
  • One-day excursion to Giverny/Rouen, or similar, including coach transport, half-day guided tour, and entries
  • One-day excursion to Versailles, or similar, including RER train transport and entries
  • One-day excursion to Fontainebleau/Vaux-le-Vicomte “aux Chandelles” (“by candlelight”), or similar, including coach transport, half-day guide in Fontainebleu, and entries in Vaux-le- Vicomte
  • Three-day, two-night excursion to Amsterdam, or similar, including train transport, guide, and €63 for entries to be determined by accompanying faculty, including the Vincent Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, Stedlik Museum, and boat tour. Accommodations in a two-star hotel (double/triple/quad rooms). Breakfast in the hotel provided daily
  • Student ID card providing free entry to most national museums in Paris
  • Optional travel on weekends and after the program is over
