PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Mr. Roberto Robledo, program director and professor of Spanish and English as a Second Language, has been a member of the Santa Barbara City College faculty since 1972. He has a B.A. and an M.A. in Spanish from California State University at Long Beach. Professor Robledo has directed eleven summer programs for the college and took the first group of SBCC students abroad in 1973. In 1997, he directed SBCC’s Spanish Language Study in Santander, Spain, in 2001 in Málaga, Spain, in 2005 in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, and in the summer of 2006, he directed a program in Costa Rica. In the summer of 2007, he directed SBCC's first summer program in San Sebastian, Spain.
