Application Procedure
Deadline for application: April 13, 2009. Apply early as the number of spaces is limited. Program is likely to fill before the deadline. If the program is full before the deadline, acceptance is not guaranteed. Applicants may be accepted after the deadline if space is available.
Application forms are available at the SBCC Study Abroad Office and from Professor Robledo. A $500 deposit is required when you register online with Tour Resource Consultants, our travel provider for the program. Please note that you are not considered officially part of the program until your payment has been made.
An interview with Professor Robledo will be scheduled upon receipt of your application and deposit. If you live outside the Santa Barbara area, you may be interviewed by telephone.
A twenty-student minimum is required or the program is subject to cancellation.
PRE-DEPARTURE MEETING. Prior to departure to Spain, you will be required to attend a meeting tentatively scheduled for Saturday, May 9th. At the meeting you will receive travel information including tips about living in Spain, what to pack, money, mail, medical information, etc.
