PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
You do not have to be currently enrolled at SBCC, but you must enroll for the summer 2009 session to participate in the Rwanda program. You do not have to be a Communication or Film major. There is no language requirement. You will be required to attend one or two pre-departure classes as well as a mandatory information meeting tentatively scheduled for May 9, 2009. As part of your program application, you are required to read a book on the history of the Rwandan genocide and to write your responses to the readings. Students must be 18 years or older on the date of departure. |
