ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Several information meetings will be scheduled in the fall and spring. Parents are welcome to attend the information meetings. The meeting times and dates will be posted in the fall.

Application Procedure

Deadline for application: April 17, 2009. Apply early as the number of spaces is limited. The program is likely to fill before the deadline. If the program is full before the deadline, acceptance is not guaranteed. Applicants may be accepted after the deadline if space is available.

Application forms are available at the SBCC Study Abroad Office and from Professor Maestu. A deposit is required at the time of application.

An interview with Professor Maestu will be scheduled upon receipt of your application and deposit. If you live outside the Santa Barbara area, you may be interviewed by telephone.

A twenty-student minimum is required or the program is subject to cancellation.

PRE-DEPARTURE MEETING. Prior to departure, you will be required to attend a meeting tentatively scheduled for Saturday, May 9th. At the meeting you will receive travel information including tips about living and traveling in Europe, what to pack, money, mail, medical information, etc.
