CHILE AND ARGENTINA

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
For the second time, Santa Barbara City College will offer a semester program in Chile and Argentina. Both Chile and Argentina are countries of outstanding natural beauty which boast many beautiful lakes, mountains, glaciers, hot springs, volcanoes and national parks. The current political and social stabilities of these countries, in addition to the still relatively low cost of living and good rate of monetary exchange, make them interesting, safe and economic places for students. Program participants will spend approximately one month in Buenos Aires and two months in Santiago de Chile and will study Spanish language, Latin American culture, and art history. Language instruction will be at the Institutes of the Latin Immersion Network in Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile. |
