Instructional Lab Support

The Instructional Lab Support unit is responsible for the installation, maintenance and support of the instructional computer lab environment. This includes technical support for desktop computers, application servers, software trouble-shooting, hardware trouble-shooting, application configuration, desktop security, wireless access, and user access to a variety of lab systems. 

This unit provides support for systems functioning within the lab environment and functions as liaison between technical lab staff, the IT Department and the academic departments utilizing instructional labs. Additionally, this unit provides training of lab operations to staff members from other departments that assist with the daily operations of an individual lab.

Supports: Assessment, Career, and University Transfer Centers, DSPS, Drafting, and EOPS computer labs, and Student Services Kiosk Machines.

Sara Whipple - Academic Technology Support Specialist
Supports:  COMP, CIS, and Business Division computer labs.

Eric Allen - Academic Technology Support Specialist
Supports: Schott and Wake Center computer labs.
