Everyone will agree
.we will never forget Mammoth 2007! The group was talented (in many ways!), energetic, funny, diverse, extreme, and completely engaged in our activities. The weather was as extreme as the group, with temperatures at the beginning of the week in the 30's-40's, and by the end of the week we experienced -30 degrees wind chill at the top of the mountain! Needless to say we learned the definition of an "arctic chill".
Aside from the skills we learned on the mountain, we also learned to work together as a group and assist each other with the unexpected incidents that often occur in a mountain environment. The mountain environment, along with skiing and snowboarding, present's high-risk situations
..the ability to make the appropriate choices was key to safely enjoying this amazing experience.
We are all thankful for the friendships developed, skills and lessons learned. I know everyone is already looking forward to next year. We will always remember our new final night tradition - dinner and karaoke night at Sherwins! Looking forward to seeing all of you on the slopes!
