Santa
Barbara Channel Swim
The Channel Swim is a relay swim which begins at midnight from Santa Cruz
Island and finishes at approximately 5:00 p.m. the same day on the shores of
Santa Barbara. The swim is a relay-style continuous swim covering 26
miles. Funds are raised to support the Santa Barbara Channel Keepers, a
non-profit organization committed to preserving the Santa Barbara Channel and
its watersheds. Participants for this year's relay raised $25,000 in an
effort to keep our ocean, creeks and beaches clean.
