The ALL CAMPUS KICKOFF DAY workshops, with descriptions below, are open to all staff, faculty, and managers. Your RSVP is very important so we can plan accordingly. Low enrolled workshops may be canceled. If you registered, you will receive a confirmation directly from Eventbrite with a PDF of your selected events.

What can I expect from these two "in-service" or "flex" days? 
All employees - faculty and staff - will have the opportunity to attend any workshop on Thursday on a very wide range of topics ranging from well being to pedagogy to technology to support services in the district. All scheduled workshops will take place on Thursday onlyRequesting pre-registration is critical for our success, so please take a few minutes to signup for the workshops you wish to attend. 
 
Who should attend the Fall 2015 All Campus Kickoff Day?
All employees of Santa Barbara City College - both credit and noncredit faculty and staff.
 
Who should register for the workshops being offered on Thursday, August 20?
All employees of Santa Barbara City College - both faculty and staff. 
 
When will the Faculty Division and Department meetings take place?
These activities will now take place on Friday, August 21 starting at 9:00am with a gathering in the Garvin followed by Division meetings, lunch, and then department meetings in the afternoon.
 
How do I register?
On our Eventbrite registration page.
 
Is pre-registration required?
No, but is strongly encouraged. Your registration helps us prepare the appropriate room size and have materials. All those offering workshops are volunteering and it's helpful for them to know who is coming to the workshop.
 
How do I know if I've registered correctly?
You will receive a confirmation email with the list of your workshops in the email plus the email will also include a PDF file with your "tickets" that give the time and location. There is no need to bring these to the workshops, but they do serve as a confirmation. 
 
 
Will lunch be provided for the Kickoff Day?
Yes. This will take place in the Sports Pavilion
 
Are any workshops offered at the Wake Campus or Schott Campus?
Yes. We will offer Qi Gong at the Schott Campus.
 
What if the workshop I want to attend is full? 
Please register for another session. We will announce any changes or opportunities on the day of the event. Space may become available and changes will be noted in August. 
 
What is required to register for the workshops?
You will be asked to provide your name, email address, and job title for each workshop you register for in advance. If you created an account on Eventbrite for the last Kickoff Day then you can use the same account. 
 
Where can I see the workshop descriptions?
They are available on the registration page
 
How will I find where the workshop will be take place? 
A program will be distributed via email in the summer and will be available at the Kickoff.
