Santa Barbara City College is recognized as a national leader in transferring well-prepared
students to the University of California, California State University, in-state independent
colleges, and out-of-state four-year colleges and universities.
By beginning a bachelor’s degree at SBCC, your student can fulfill general education
requirements, begin major-preparation coursework, and ultimately save thousands of
dollars in tuition and fees.
Students who meet certain guidelines are eligible for guaranteed transfer admission
to several four-year universities. We transfer more students to UC Santa Barbara than
any other community college.
Our knowledgeable counselors at the Transfer Center will guide your son or daughter through the transfer process and identify courses
needed for Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) programs offered by various universities.
