Teaching Experience
I have been an instructor for the ADN Program since January 1999. Currently, I teach several of the medical-surgical courses. Clinically, I am approved by the Board of Registered Nursing to teach in general medical/surgical areas in addition to geriatrics.

Professional Experience
My experience includes medical/surgical nursing, out-patient surgery and operating room nursing. I am also involved with the National League for Nursing.

Personal Statement
It seems like only yesterday that I was a student feeling anxious and unsure about my career path. Through teaching I enjoy validating students’ feeling of doubt and empowering them to continue on their course to a rewarding career. I have found teaching to be an excellent opportunity for growing and learning.
