How many units is the course?
A half unit (0.5 units).

How long is the course?
Twenty-seven (27) hours.

What if I need more than 27 hours?
The course can be repeated for a total of four times. Simply register again for NURS-194.

Will I be graded?

This is a credit/no credit course.

Do I have to take a test?
There is no written test.

Do I attend regular classes?
No, this is an independent study course. You are welcome to use the AHNL anytime that is convenient for you within the hours that the AHNL is open.

What do I have to do?
* Attend an orientation session.
    Complete a self-assessment questionnaire.

    Bring a Drivers license and RN or LVN license.
* Register for the college and the class.
* Have an individual consultation with the AHNL Coordinator to plan your course of study.
* Use the media materials & practice supplies independently.
