Statement of Purpose

SBCC’s Nursing Alumni Association (NAA) supports quality-nursing education at SBCC by promoting and assisting the ADN students and program. The NAA supports nursing students in their education through recognition with scholarships and other types of financial assistance. The NAA supports the nursing program through the purchase of needed items and fostering the mentoring of nursing students and new graduates. The NAA also promotes opportunities for graduates to stay involved in current nursing actives within the community and to participate in NAA events.

Funds raised through donations are used in the following ways: student scholarships, book funds, emergency loans, equipment and supplies for the Allied Health and Nursing Laboratory, child care, and transportation assistance.

All graduates of the SBCC Nursing Programs and friends of nursing graduates are invited to become members.
