Policies of Allied Health and Nursing Laboratory
The Allied Health and Nursing Laboratory Policies cover use of the AHNL, rules of conduct, record keeping, and appointment scheduling and cancellation. The policies also cover the use of nursing supplies and equipment, use of multimedia programs, the use of simulators, and the computer lab. The purpose of these policies is to promote an optimal learning environment for all students. The policies are are explained during orientation to the AHNL and are posted in the AHNL.
The Allied Health and Nursing Laboratory policies are formulated and revised by a committee composed of the Allied Health and Nursing Laboratory Director and the Directors of the ADN, VN and CNA programs. Input is solicited and welcomed from all Health Technologies/Allied Health faculty, students and the Allied Health and Nursing Laboratory (AHNL) staff. The Dean of Educational Programs who is responsible for Health Technologies/Allied Health Programs, approves new or revised policies.
