Adult High School and GED Graduation

Approximately 100 Adult High School students and GED students participated in the eighth annual graduation ceremony on Friday, June 18 at Santa Barbara City College organized by SBCC Continuing Education Student Services and the Adult High School program.
The SBCC Adult High School and GED programs have been the only avenue for some of these students to complete their secondary education. The graduating class represented a multitude of backgrounds from single parents to others who were unsuccessful in high school to those returning from incarceration.
For some students, earning their diploma or certificate has been a milestone and has provided an incentive to focus on continuing their post-secondary education.
