Construction Activity near SBCC

The City of Santa Barbara has a major construction project under way north of Highway 101 at the intersection of Haley and De La Vina Streets which could possibly affect faculty, staff and students coming and leaving campus. Detour routes are set up.
The bridge at that intersection is being replaced to meet current safety requirements for earthquake, vehicular and pedestrian loads, and water flow. The estimated date of completion is Spring 2010.
