SBCC's Scheinfeld Center Presents: A Conversation with Entrepreneur Marty Neumeier

Santa Barbara City College’s Scheinfeld Center Enlightened Entrepreneurship Series will host renowned entrepreneur, author, brand designer, and business advisor, Marty Neumeier, on Friday, February 26th, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the Fé Bland Forum on SBCC’s West Campus. During this edition of the Scheinfeld Center's popular Enlightened Entrepreneurship Series, Marty will share his extraordinary entrepreneurial journey as a recognized thought-leader in brand strategy, innovation, and design, who transforms businesses from the inside out. Marty is the best-selling author of The Brand Gap, ZAG!, and The Designful Company, and he has inspired thousands of creatives, business leaders, and educators around the globe.
Drawing from decades of experience in developing brands and advancing business cultures, Marty is an advocate for creativity and innovation. He has worked closely with innovative companies in retail and technology, including Apple, Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Netscape, Sun Microsystems, and HP. “Business is a fulcrum for change,” Marty says. “Improving how business works is the quickest way to improve how the world works.”
The event will be presented by Scheinfeld Center program assistant, Natalie Michal and moderated by Scheinfeld Center executive director, Julie Samson. The audience will have an opportunity to personally interact with Marty and network during the reception following the presentation.

This event is hosted by the Scheinfeld Center in partnership with the Santa Barbara County Small Business Development Center (SBDC), and the Center for International Trade Development (CITD).
