LATN 101: Beginning Latin I

Beginning course in reading, grammar and syntax of classical Latin. Study of the presence of Latin in modern languages, sciences and culture.

LATN 102: Beginning Latin II
(4) F, S - CSU, UC
Prerequisites: LATN 101 or two years of high school Latin with a minimum grade of "C" or qualifying score on SBCC SoML placement exam

Continuation of Latin 101. Focuses on reading, grammar and syntax of classical Latin. Study of the presence of Latin in modern languages, sciences and culture.
