6. Review Sheets
Since I use a class packet which students purchase in the bookstore, review sheets for class material as well as for the texts are provided. In addition, the students are given the possible essays for the tests in advance; they are aware that I will choose essays from these.

Reason for Use
I find these sheets help students focus their attention on the material they need to study. This is especially good for international students and the occasional Essential Skills student in my classes.

Observations
I have been please with these review sheets since I started using them years ago. When students do not do well on exams, I ask to see the answers to the review questions. This is even more helpful when students come to my office before an exam and want me to check to see if they have the correct answers for the study questions.
