I just want to thank everyone who participated in the Student Success workshop. My experience at SBCC will long be remember as one of collegial good spirits and instructional support. During my time at SBCC I was madly finishing my dissertation and looking for a job (if you are ever in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan look my up). The bi-weekly success meetings were an enjoyable break from statistical analysis and monotony of writing. I even think that my dissertation has benefitted from my participation in the workshop. After the writing skills meeting I looked at my daily writing in a different light. I was able to feel what my own students were feeling and had a greater appreciation for what I was doing as well as what they were doing. For that I thank everyone. I hope that my participation the success workshope benefitted other in at least some small way and look forward to bumping into some of you in the future. Good luck to all of you.
