In the spring of 2003 the Learning Resource Center was
renamed--after Doc and Barbara Cartwright.
Like the Learning Resource Center, the Cartwrights are dedicated
to serving others. They put their principles to work each
day and have assisted the students of SBCC tremendously
over the past several years, specifically in helping to
plan and support programs for students with great potential
and equally great obstacles.
We, the staff of the Cartwright Learning Resources Center,
are honored to have our facility bear the name of such intelligent
and compassionate people. The Cartwrights embody our best
efforts toward helping students succeed in college and in
life.
