Nicole Biergiel has been tutoring writing for five years, and has worked in learning center administration for the last two. She earned her B.A. in English Literature at California Lutheran University and her M.A. in English Literature at Boston College. Nicole spent the last two years in Massachusetts, where she taught composition while completing course work at Boston College. Born and raised in the Santa Barbara area, she is excited to return to the central coast. In her capacity as a LTA for the LRC Writing Lab, Nicole is particularly interested in developing a sense of community among the tutors and students, as well as between academic departments through the promotion of Writing Across the Curriculum programs at SBCC.
