CLRC PRINTING POLICY

The CLRC provides limited free printing as well as paid printing using the campuswide GoPrint system. In order to be able to continue to provide a free printing service to all our students, we ask that students use discretion when deciding what to print. Detailed printing instructions and information are available at student workstations and from computer tutors.

FREE PRINTING

Students may print one copy of an academic paper for free. This includes only papers written by the student for an SBCC class assignment. Images as well as content not authored by the student, such as online quiz results, articles, or assignment sheets, are not included.

PAID PRINTING

Students may print for 10 cents per page:

• additional copies or further drafts of the same paper;

• any course materials not generated by the student, such as syllabi, assignment sheets, course notes, study guides, PowerPoint presentations, articles, or quiz results. This includes class materials from Pipeline, Proquest, WebCT or online classes.

• any content from internet sources, such as articles, emails, class schedules, and confirmations;

• personal statements for college applications, resumes, flyers, and other personal documents.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

• You must have sufficient funds available on your Campus Card (SBCC ID card) to pay for printing.

• To add money to your Campus Card from a credit card, visit Pipeline, click the "campus card" tab, and follow the instructions there.

• You can also add cash at the CampusCard kiosk in the Campus Center (in the cafeteria lobby).

• If you would prefer to pay cash for your printing or want to use color printing (50 cents per page), please ask a computer tutor to send the document to the Luria Library's GoPrint system for you.

• The CLRC does not provide special printing services (e.g., colored paper, transparencies, or oversized pages). Please visit a print shop for these types of services.
