Journalism Association of Community Colleges
The JACC is a California-based confederation of faculty and advisers from most of the 2-year journalism programs in the state, including SBCC. This excellent website details upcoming conferences and events, among many other useful items for community college journalism students. It also provides the best link in existence on the Cal State Universities Journalism programs.

Student Press Law Center
An essential site for all student journalists who find their First Amendment rights compromised or threatened. E-mail them with any questions, preferably before researching and writing the story.

Associated Collegiate Press
ACP is a non-profit membership organization serving student journalists and advisers since 1921.

Association for Education in Journalism & Mass Comm
AEJMC is the oldest and largest association of journalism and mass communication educators and administrators at the college level. Members come from more than 28 countries, with the majority working in the United States and Canada.
