Interview with Kenley Neufeld :

What teaching tip or counseling advice do you have for other faculty?

I have been teaching online since 2002 and I found it a great method of instructional delivery. I find myself more connected to the students, as a whole, and am able to have more in depth participation from all students. If you haven’t tried teaching online, I encourage you to give it a try. If you are teaching online, make yourself available to your students in real time.

I’ve done everything from work the “slime line” in an Alaska fish factory, picking strawberries in Oregon to working graveyard shift in a 24-hour market/liquor store.
