Professional and Community Service:

Previously: member of Board of Directors of CALM; Project Coordinator for POPI (Power of Partnership Initiative) at United Way; Development Department at Santa Barbara Trust for Historical Preservation; Director of the Chaplain Program at the Santa Barbara County Jail and Los Prietos Juvenile Camp; Recipient of "Amigo del Ano" award for Community Accomplishment, awarded by the Santa Barbara Concilio de la Raza; Community Organizer in Delhi, Fillmore, East Los Angeles, 'La Colonia" in Oxnard; California Licensed Insurance Agent; Associate pastor at Our Lady of Guadalupe parish, Santa Barbara and St. Raphael's parish, Goleta.
