SoCal Championships on Friday, Nov. 6
The Southern Cal Championships for cross country will be held on Friday, Nov. 6, not Saturday as originally announced. SBCC's men's and women's teams both qualified for the meet, which will take place at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, starting at 10 a.m.
Vaquero sophomore Mark Moreno placed second in the WSC Championships last Friday and SBCC finished fourth in the 4-mile race at Cuesta. The SBCC women were also fourth, led by Seanie Rigney (18th) and Erika Schaeffer (22nd).
The top 14 teams in each race will advance to the State Championships on Nov. 21 in Fresno.
