Ron's professional interests include communication in interpersonal and business/professional communication. He is especially interested in using feature films to illustrate communication principles in these and other areas.
In addition to teaching courses in these areas from time to time, Ron is co-author of several textbooks that address communication contexts and topics including interpersonal communication, small group communication, public speaking, small group communication, assertiveness, and social skills. In addition to writing and teaching, Ron works with professional and business people to improve their communication on the job.
