Linda Benet is a professor in the Art Department at Santa Barbara City College. Linda has a Masters of Fine Arts Degree in Two-Dimensional Art (Printmaking, Drawing and Painting) from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA. Linda teaches drawing, design, figure drawing, watercolor, painting, figure painting and monotype at SBCC. She has exhibited in Santa Barbara, Ithaca, NY, Redlands, CA, Encino, CA, and the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA.

I deeply enjoy teaching and appreciate the diverse energy of different kinds of students. I have taught drawing, design, figure drawing, watercolor, painting, figure painting and monotype classes at Santa Barbara City College and believe in providing a supportive and nurturing environment with both structured and experimental assignments and projects.
