Stephanie Dotson received her MFA degree at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA and her BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute. In Fall 2007 Stephanie will begin teaching Printmaking and Design. Employing a “mad arsenal of working materials and techniques”, solo exhibits of her installation work include Kansas City, MO , Atlanta,  Chicago and Philadelphia.

Rather than looking for the “correct” answer, an artistic challenge requires creativity and curiosity in order to achieve excellence. In class, we explore several answers to a visual challenge in order to develop a personal vocabulary of what qualifies an individuals personal “best”.
