My academic credentials are in the field of Art History, with an emphasis in the History of Architecture. However, teaching classes on Visual Literacy and on the History of Art and Architecture is just one side of my life. I am also a partner of an architectural historical consulting firm. We write reports for clients who want to alter or demolish properties that are potentially culturally or historically significant, and offer specific measures to mitigate the impact of their project. Working with students and clients is both challenging and fulfilling, and I love being able to maintain a balance between my academic and business careers. |
