I especially enjoy teaching non-art majors Art 101, Visual Literacy, a course that opens doors to students. Most come away with a new awareness of the visual world and a more critical sense of the meaning and design of the visual imagery they encounter in their daily lives. I love the fact that I teach students something which can have such an impact on their lives and relates so deeply to their experience in the contemporary world.
