William Durham is a painter who has been teaching at Santa Barbara City College since 1994.
He received his (BFA) bachelors of fine Arts degree from San Jose State University and his (MFA) Masters of Fine Arts degree from The University of California at Santa Barbara.The list of courses he has taught at Santa Barbara City College include: Art 120 Fundamentals of Drawing, Art 122 Figure Drawing, Art 140 Foundation in Design, Art 131, 133 Beginning Intermediate Painting, Art 134 Landscape Painting, Art 193, 194 Beginning and Intermediate Screen Printing. In his spare time he can be found riding his bicycle, motorcycle or attending local Yoga classes.  Drawing is the most important class that one could take, it is much more about seeing than making marks.  |
