BFA from Northern Illinois University, attended Columbia College in Chicago for animation. Professional experience: 20 years in the animation industry, working for various studios including Chuck Jones Productions, Warner Bros., Klasky Csupo and Filmation Studios. Has taught the Classical Animation class at SBCC since 1999.

The animation process is all about creating life. The fact that a bunch of simple line drawings can look like they're thinking and have feelings is magical to me. I enjoy sharing my appreciation of this art form and its unique place in film.
