Beverly Decker

Beverly Decker combines careers as both an artist and an educator. Beverly is an art instructor for California State University Channel Islands, Santa Barbara City College, Ventura College, and summer painting workshops in France. Beverly received a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University at Long Beach, and a Master of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Arizona. One of the founding members of Women Beyond Borders, Beverly's work is exhibited and is in private collections throughout the world.

My philosophy, as an artist/educator, is to make art that is technically & aesthetically sound, that expresses my experience as a woman artist. Through my art and teaching, I hope to inspire others, to experience, respect and express their creativity & uniqueness and to recognize and respect the uniqueness of others.
