This juried annual show is always a lively array of styles, media, scale, and content.
Numerous awards will be given at the reception. Many of SBCC’s art students have gone on to noted careers in the artworld and related creative fields. Artworks are for sale.
The year’s juror is Tim Schiffer, the Director of the Ventura County Museum. Mr. Schiffer studied art at Yale University and the University of California, Santa Barbara. A curator and writer as well as a painter, he has also taught at UCSB. While there, he was the director of the College of Creative Studies Gallery.
The Gallery is located in the Humanities Building, East Campus Gallery
