Atkinson Gallery presents the first exhibition of works by New York artist John King in California. Featuring drawings, prints, and encaustic paintings, there also will be a display of his noted Hotel drawings. Winner of the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant and a NEA Fellowship Grant, King was a featured artist at the Vicenza (Italy) Art Fair 2005. Amongst others, his work is in the collection of the Brooklyn Museum, the Library of Congress, and the Harvard and Yale University Art Museums.
ATKINSON GALLERY is located on the East Campus, on the second floor of the Humanities building, of Santa Barbara City College, at 721 Cliff Drive Santa Barbara.
